My wife and I had 10 dove breasts wrapped in bacon smothered in BBQ sauce cooked over a grill till a little pink on the inside. We also had Lake Michigan King salmon that had been marinated over night in my wife's special secret recipe. To top it all off we had a verity of our own homemade pierogies consisting of meat,blueberry,potatoe, sauerkraut and all these were fried up with mushrooms and onions. MAN IT'S GREAT TO BE A GATHERER.  |

Wild turkey wrapped in bacon shish-kabobs on the grill, fresh steelhead wrapped in foil on the grille, and baked mac and cheese with chorizo. Best to die a happy man.

Seasoned New York Strips topped with morels sauteed in butter and olive oil, wedged potatoes roasted with olive oil and sea salt, plenty of shroom gravy on both.

Ok, you got me there...it was really Krogers costcutter Italian dressing...she's pretty low maintenance!  Tonight we are having spaghetti made with Bakers Camp breakfast deer sausage and my homemade wheat bread toasted with garlic sauce! |

Tonight deer burgers made with very lean deer meat and ground chuck mixed together at about a 70/30 combination,cooked on the grill.

I had a free meal from McDonalds for Teacher Appreciation Week. That Master's Degree is really starting to pay off!
