An attempt at impeachment would be a backfire for Republicans.
My wish is that he is effectively neutered his last two years in office by a Republican controlled House and Senate. If the Dems retain the Senate he will load the judicial system up with judges who thinks like he does and that will be a lot more far reaching than any of his EOs..

I think the Republicans have a good chance of taking the Senate this fall .... if that happens it will almost be comical the number of bills that hit Obamas desk and that he then vetos. He will instantly be turned from the guy who complains the other party is obstructing his agenda to the guy who is obstructing theirs.
Politics ... I love em. Its like a chess game that takes generations to play out.

Probably a lot of folks have contemplated a Biden presidency. And being a replacement term of less than two years duration, by the time it could be accomplished, it wouldn't count against his term limits. 10 years of Smilin' Joe as the incumbent.......!

I always did think Biden was Obama's "Insurance Policy".

The worst thing the Republicans can do is try to impeach Obama - the voters will see it as a personal attack on Obama not his actions. How about the conservative movement spending less time attacking and criticizing, and more time convincing the public that there better policies, and why they are better.
Better start taking the high road IMO, or risk alienating a lot of voters.
Oh and tell Sarah Palin to put a sock in it - she cost the R party the White House once already. The D's are vulnerable, I just think people are worn out with attack politics. For example, letting Darrell Issa run the Benghazi thing hurts credibility.

The GOP isn't taking Obama's baiting, they are smart to wait until the midterms to even consider impeaching the Kenyan usurper. Impeaching him now would only inflame the dem base, resulting in more of them voting. Better to wait until they control both Houses, then they can impeach him and, hopefully, remove him from office. While the will of the people should always be considered, they aren't always right. Sometimes the government must act against public opinion when freedom is at stake.

Kevin,
It takes a vote of 60 in the senate to impeach the president. That won't happen..
We are stuck with him for the remainder..
His "phone and pen" will be all he has though. His "legacy" will be the most incompetent president ever. Shame on the people of this country for ever electing him in the first place..

The main problem with the republicans controlling both the senate and the house is that they are spineless cowards in the face of challenging Obama. They seem more worried about what the press will think of them rather than what is the good of the country. How is our country going to survive when all we elect is traitors or cowards to office. I hope I am wrong as our country's future is at stake.

I'm not sure either party is completely in tune with what is "right" for the country..... they both have their flaws. A split that keeps each in check is likely the best we can hope for at this time..... IMO of course.
