This might be a little off topic but I love hearing stories from fiance about the old crazy duck hunting rules when the COs would walk around sticking rectal themometors up duck butts to determine if your 100 point hen mallard was shot before or after your drakes and all the insane things guys would do to make the ducks the right temperature in case they were inspected.
I'll have to ask him about the old deer hunting rules!

Not sure where you got that every other year at.. I started deer hunting in 1968 and have deer hunted EVERY year since then. You might have to go back to the '50s to skip any years.. Oops will correct that quickly in my first post I meant to make it early 1960s my bad I added that on an Edit and did not even look at it !!6 and 7 are next to each other .If I am not mistaken it was 1962 or 3 .I need to look it up . The rest is spot on I am sure as I have the rule books or small pamphlets as they were years ago clear back to the late 1970s ..Got em all actually .I am a bit of a collector /packrat of that sort of thing .
