Is there any official word on Indiana's proposal to make the .243 caliber round a legal round? I new it was a proposition for 2014 but never found an answer either way.

It will more than likely be preliminarily adopted by the Natural Resources Commission at their September 16th meeting. Then it will be open for public input. The NRC will consider final adoption sometime early in 2015. The earliest we can use "high powered rifles" would be the 2015 season IF adopted.,

I do not like this idea. I know our area is too populated and there are too many hunters. I live in west central indiana and i think this would be a huge mistake if it is adopted. What are your thoughts?
