Nice evening. Saw 4 bucks all chasing does. All younger but still fun to watch. Just waiting on a shooter. (130 plus) for me. Be out in the morning before the front moves in.

Still waiting on my Dad to get in so we can drag it out. Its an 8 point with long brow tines and eye gougers sticking straight out from each base. Not much mass but decent tine length. Looks to be 3.5 years old. Congratulations Scrub! That's just awesome. I know it was exciting. My nephew shot a big 10 pointer Wednesday. They're moving.

I expected a bunch shot tonight, but I didn't have a shot tonight. I saw a 6 pointer, but not a shooter. I never heard him, just saw him sneaking by.
So tell me fellas, is it worth hunting tomorrow night? I'm not much for being out in the rain. I won't melt, but I'm pretty much a sissy about doing anything in the rain. Cold is fine, but wet... nope. As crazy as it may sound, I'd rather be bundled up with my wife even though it's hunting season.

Beautiful night but didn't see one single deer. Saw and freshened up some scrapes on my walk to and from the stand. Moved a couple cameras over the larger scrapes. Heading out for a few hours in the morning before it gets too nasty.

Still raining here. In the box blind and traded the mission compound for the mission crossbow this morning. Scrapes are all freshened up and I'm ready to go!

Back in my favorite stand this morning. Sitting in a wooded pinch point between standing corn and a crp patch. Lots of bedding in here hoping for a good one to cruise through..on and off sprinkles and chilly.

Just had a 6 point walk through downwind of me. Happy about that. It was the same one I shot at 3 weeks ago. So I'm happy he's still on his feet.

Heartbreaking morning went out to go sit in the blind and it was not there, someone stole it. Why do ppl have to be that way. God knows Who they are and one day they will have their day.

That is a bummer for sure.... Trading one's soul for a blind....how stupid is that? Don't let it get you down though. In a case like this, if I had a choice of being the thief or the one being stolen from I'd take the one being stolen from every time. Just pray for them as they are the one's that will really need it.

Talk about a kick to the gut. Sorry to hear that. Mine is brushed in ok but, with the orange regs I can still spot it from the road which makes me nervous. Hope they get caught and answer for what they have done

Hope they get caught and answer for what they have done You do not have to have the orange the blinds unless occupied. If your blind can be seen from the road I would remove the HO when I am not actually hunting it..

A big 10 has a doe pinned down in a thicket about 100 yards away. He won't let her come my way. He's gotten to 50 yards twice to run 2 different 8 pointers off. One of which was big enough to shoot. Quite the show. Bet he's grunted 150 times this morning.
