For what it's worth, I wouldn't sell a firearm without transfering it out of my name, even to a family member. Just way too many what ifs.
Ditto, but for me, if it was purchased from a private party and my name wasn't associated with it, I wouldn't make it show back up on the radar.

It would be much simpler if they (Government) would repeal the GCA of 1968 & other useless gun laws. Criminals & those unfit to own a firearm, will get them regardless of the laws on the books. exactly..you cannot legislate morality..Criminals do not obey laws, they break laws. so what make anyone think a criminal would obey any gun control laws passed...laws are only meant for people who obey laws..the people who aren't even committing crimes...makes a heck of a lot of sense...Our Federal Government at it's best. Stupid nonsense propaganda.

It simply amazes me that politicians actually believe that someone intent on committing murder, like the top capital crime, would worry about something as trivial as a background check. That falls right in line with gun free zones. Since there is a sign criminals won't bring a gun into the area. That worked so well in that Denver theater a few years ago.
