For some reason I can not open a clickable link within a post by just clicking on it. I have to use a right mouse click and "open in a new window" selection to open a link. Any ideas what is wrong?

Do you also have an alert show up at the bottom of the screen asking if you wish to allow such when you use the left click?
If so, it's like mine and I have it set up that way so ONLY I decide what "pops up". It's the easiest system for me to use the right click but if you DO have that alert show up on the bottom of the screen you can click it to have to option to "always allow" such from that particular site.
IMO if you do not have this alert show up....."Someone" has clicked to "always use this setting" somewhere along the line.
Personally I like the right click and open in another window. Going BACK to the original post or site is not needed. It's still open.
Hope this helps God Bless

I click and nothing happens.. Where is this "always use this setting" that you soak of?

I don't think so. The cursor changes to a pointing finger and when I click there is a little circle that goes around and then stops...nothing happens..

Fixed it.. I had selected "pop up blocker on" on my browser. I selected "pop up blocker off" and it is OK now..

Sorry. I should have mentioned it is all part of the pop up blocker function. There might be some variations between blocker types but all have something similar. Yours may not have the alert that appears so one can have individual settings per site visited but it's just my preference to block everything, all the time on all sites and use the right click to see what I wish.
Glad to see it was a simple fix. PC issues can produce big headaches even when the "problem" is just a setting.
God Bless
