Yes everyone have a safe, fun, and MERRY CHRISTMAS! Our little boy Luke (4) has the flu, so we hope it runs it's course before the big day. He is graduating from a "Buck" Red Ryder to a Daisy pump BB gun this Christmas, so hoping he is well enough to enjoy the excitement of this and other gifts. Hold on to your hats too, the weather is supposed to be fun for the holidays!

My wife (37 weeks pregnant), two year old daughter and I all had some degree of flu during Christmas last year. Christmas day was as perfect as it could be, lots of laying around. This year we're hoping for less sickness and more energy. Our almost one year old demands it. :-)
Merry Christmas to EVERYONE.
Jay- tell Black Bart that Luke's coming for him

I just realized he's graduating from the Red Ryder, so my joke is not a joke at all. Boo.

I just realized he's graduating from the Red Ryder, so my joke is not a joke at all. Boo. JRW, Yeah you got me on that one! Oh yeah, and good luck and congrats on the baby to be! Busy times ahead!!! Our Luke is a pretty good shot with the Red Rider on cans at about 10yds. He has been begging for a scope, but unable to use one on that style gun. My friend had two used , but like new, Daisy guns that have the groove on top and a scope to go with it. So, needless to say, he ought to be feeling real good when he opens it up. My boy is very "with it" for his age already, and has showed great progress with his gun thus far. I was hesitant on getting him toy guns, although he does have a few, trying to think ahead of the game with society nowadays. We are teaching him to respect peoples views and fear of guns just by their sight. He has handled everything pretty well thus far, and hoping to keep him on the right track growing up and progressing thru each step along the way. BTW, he is feeling a whole lot better already so this bug is working it's way thru! Jay

The baby to be was last year's late Christmas present, he is now a toddler to be. So ornery compared to his sister when she was that age.
I bet Luke is going to be thrilled. And glad to hear he's on the mend.

And glad to hear he's on the mend. LOL - I wasn't sure from your first post whether your wife was pregnant last year or this year. Belated congrats! As for the orneriness, girls are much easier as babies, but the progression in inverted as they age. My boys were ... shall we say .... much more active as babies and toddlers (2 ER visits within a week!) compared to my daughter, but wow ... she is by far mouthier and lipppier as she enters her tween years (11 going on 12). She is a straight A student, but I would much rather teach her younger brothers about the Newtonian Physics than have to help her with her 6th grade homework.
