I wanted this in a separate thread, but it goes along with next years squirrel contest/campout. In setting the get together up, how many of you could come during the week[with enough advanced notice on the date], vs. weekend only. This may make a difference on the date for the hunt. I'm still convinced it will be a weekend after Labor Day, and before Oct.1, bow season. Let me know your thoughts.

Weekend for me. Wouldn't mind taking a half day on s Friday though

Doesn't matter to me. I would take a vacation day to meet up and spend the night and hunt the next day if it was during the week or meet Friday night and hunt Saturday, but I would probably only be hunting one day either way.

I'm off every other weekend , so I wouldn't mind having a 3 day weekend shooting or catching my dinner .

I think it sounds like a great way to meet some of the people on here and have a good time.I camp and hunt a couple times a year with my son and grandson,we usually go to one of the state areas like Mississinewa or Salamonie and have a good time. I am retired so week or weekend either one would be good for me. I live in kokomo and my son lives in greenfield so we are pretty much in the center of the state.

With other things going on this fall, and labor Day being a week late, if we pull off the camp out, lets make it the weekend of Sept.11,12,13. That's Fri.,Sat.,Sun. Still have to check out the campground, but hopefully that will happen in the next 30 days. So, if you are inclined to do so, mark your calendars for Sept. 11, 12, 13.

Weekday would work better for me, but it looks like it will be a weekend. Which is fine as well as long as I can get it off.
