Yawn !! wake me when the month of May gets here !! Why is that when the boring sport of baseball starts along with the other boring sport of Indy car racing.

Like most things these days, this is being handled a lot like the Salem witch trials. Everyone is assumed guilty by an accusation because no woman would dare to lie to get her way......

As I posted earlier, I've never been a huge fan of the Busch boys. But, I respect the heck out of them as racers! It really bites that neither will be racing. However, I guess a silver lining is that Joie Chitwood now says the process has already begun to install SAFER barrier "on every inch of our property!"

Definately not a Busch fan, but this crap from NASCAR is just going to be another nail in their coffin. NASCAR is catching h**l on practically every NASCAR story on the internet. When they lose the fan base completely, the next thing to go will be the TV sponsorships. May be getting time for some of the owners to start a new league....

I've thought a major slow- down has been overdue for a long time. Liked the racing a lot more when they weren't racing planes with wheels that needed to fly in tight formations and maintain their "alliances" like the participants in some noisy reality show.
Always enjoyed the IROC races, with identically prepped cars. I liked the racing a lot more, and thought it reflected the driver skill a lot better than the Nascar team efforts and reality show hoopla.
Still hooked enough to keep tuning in although usually I now let the recorder handle it so I can zip through the endless ads and double-time through the boring parades while waiting for the next wreck or passing opportunity.
Better uses for most Sunday afternoons unless I'm snowed in.

Strange, many of those defending Busch were the same ones calling for a certain football player who slugged his girlfriend in an elevator to be drawn and quartered before he ever saw a courtroom. What odd standards some of us have.

It's no longer innocent until proven guilty, it's guilty unless you can prove yourself innocent. Even then, there will be none or at least very little media coverage stating that point.

Can someone tell me why SHE needs a protection order? Ms. Driscoll came to Busch's motorhome uninvited, let herself and her son in while Busch was sleeping in the buff, and refused to leave. He had to take HER son to the front of the motorhome and turn the TV on - while still naked - so he could tell Driscoll again that their relationship was over and to leave.
Shouldn't he be the one filing a restraining or protection order against her, along with trespassing charges? and what about track security? If I tried to get into the track, would they let me and one of my kids in at night?
And for the Busch brothers, aka "Outlaw" and "Rowdy", YOU DON'T GIVE YOURSELF NICKNAMES!!!
