The country is based on liberty, not freedom. There is a difference. The end of the Pledge of Allegiance states, "...with Liberty and Justice for all." From dictionary.reference.com/browse/libertyLiberty: 1. freedom from arbitrary or despotic government or control. 2. freedom from external or foreign rule; independence. 3. freedom from control, interference, obligation, restriction, hampering conditions, etc.; power or right of doing, thinking, speaking, etc., according to choice. 4. freedom from captivity, confinement, or physical restraint: The prisoner soon regained his liberty.5. permission granted to a sailor, especially in the navy, to go ashore. 6. freedom or right to frequent or use a place: The visitors were given the liberty of the city.7. unwarranted or impertinent freedom in action or speech, or a form or instance of it: to take liberties. Synonyms.... 1. Freedom, independence, liberty refer to an absence of undue restrictions and an opportunity to exercise one's rights and powers. Freedom emphasizes the opportunity given for the exercise of one's rights, powers, desires, or the like: "freedom of speech or conscience; freedom of movement." Independence implies not only lack of restrictions but also the ability to stand alone, unsustained by anything else: "Independence of thought promotes invention and discovery." Liberty, though most often interchanged with freedom, is also used to imply undue exercise of freedom: I don't know your source, but: From: dictionary.reference.com/browse/synonym?s=tsynonym noun 1.a word having the same or nearly the same meaning as another in the language, as happy, joyful, elated. A dictionary of synonyms and antonyms (or opposites), such as Thesaurus.com, is called a thesaurus. Liberty defines specific "freedoms". Total freedom would be synonymous with anarchy.

Need vs want. Do I need another gun? No I have two safes full. Do I want another? Always. Should I be limited on the amount of guns I own? Would it make a difference if they were fully auto. The amount of crime caused by fully auto is negligent compared to semi or single shot. Heck more people die from knife wounds or even blunt force trauma. Yes I know the argument about rate of fire but you take the same ar with a 30 round clip, one being semi and one being full and that clip empties both in a comparable amount of time.
These gun laws effect only a certain group of people. Law abiding citizens.

I probably only have a dozen, but would like to have at least another dozen. How many guns does a man need? At least one more.

One can aim/place their shots better than the "spray and pray" of an auto. I've got more guns than I need for sure. I just sold one (something I really don't do that often)that had been a Safe Queen for 25 years. I've got some more safe queens so more might go, but I'll bet Ill buy something else to replace them...that I will use more often. I did that with the handgun I sold. I went form a .22 target pistol to 9MM carry gun.

Many acts are and will remain illegal regardless of the tool used. Full auto firearm or hammer....the tool don't matter. I'd like the option....freedom if you will...to purchase just about any firearm on earth I could want and afford. Need shouldn't ever be a consideration in what I can own. I don't need a car that can go 200mph but I can go buy one any time I want. So where does "SAFTEY" fall in your consideration's in what you or anyone can buy or own?? That is the same kind of thinking antigunners use and every time they wring their hands about some great tragedy about to happen when one of our gun rights is restored & the same thing happens every time: Nothing! There are many people afraid of freedom though. Now where do you draw the line - I'll propose anything a basic infantry soldier would carry in to combat should be legal for us as well as a starting point.

What is the definition of an anti gunner?
I know it is ok to call those who are not members here anti-gunners and that it is also NOT ok to call any of our members anti-gunners ..... but what is the definition of an anti-gunner?

I might have issues. Got some safe queens that never been fired. Had them for years

I think I may have started this mess out of boredom. Sometimes I just can't control myself.
I still think I should be able to buy a rocket launcher. LOL

you CAN buy a fully automatic weapon and shoot it legally. Just need deep pockets for the gun and pay the kings tax of $200.

It seems to me like a fight is trying to be picked out of nothing here. All over the word "need",as soon as I saw it I knew it was coming. It happened to me once.
