Does anyone else find it amusing that you can strap 2 semi auto AR-15s like the ones posted in "ask a CO" to your wrists like Robocop or Terminator to legally hunt deer in Indiana but if you put it on your shoulder it somehow becomes a safety issue for the public? LMAO. I realize this topic has been beaten to death but the picture of that gun was perhaps the most beautiful example of the absurdity of some of our hunting regulations in Indiana.
And ya'll wonder why society has trouble taking every law that's broken seriously. ;-)

That really is tempting, building one in 6.8SPC could make for a fun one! Wonder how long a barrel I could get away with.......

I was a Dan Dakich fan when he played for IU, but who wasn't. After he made his comments on the Sandy Hook shooting, I haven't listened to him since. When he saw the AR, he said that no one needed to have a weapon like this. He thought it was ridiculous.
One can insult my kind of person in a lot of ways and I still might listen, but want to take my guns away and...
Let me ask this question: Once a hunting law is made regarding weapons, how difficult is it to repeal? In the corporate world, sometimes management doesn't like to admit that they made a mistake promoting a person, so demoting them is a last effort.
When they realize that we can legally do what chub is stating, but not put it to our shoulder, is is more likely to pass HPR or repeal the handgun model?

Never been a fan of Dan - he is definitely an anti. (Among other things) I'd say once a firearm is legal you chances of having that changed are pretty long. It would take some kind of major safety issue or some such thing.
