I don't like social media really it is more destructive than constructive in most instances
And I don't care much for trolls and won't engage with them in arguments.

Social media is anti-social most of the time. People believe themselves to be anonymous when they really aren't and a lot of times say or do things they would not do face to face. I work in an IT job everyday (working with computer technology and software daily) and long ago left most social media behind due to the realization that it doesn't do a lot for me in my job and even less in my personal life. Most people are convinced they are right about their own views and will never change their point of view or perception of reality no matter what information is presented to them. Social media tends to amplify that much more and in a pubic way. If you're happy with being on social media, good on you. If you're happier without it, even better for your sanity  |

My problem with it is people sure say things they wouldn't in person when they are online.
Amazing how tough people can be behind their computers.
I was always taught to treat people how you would like to be treated.

Ive always found it weird how rooted people can be in their beliefs sometimes. I know my opinion on many subjects has changed drastically as I read more materials and papers. Hunting was one of those things. Didn't think or know how important hunting licenses and fees were for conservation efforts until I did some reading.
Always found it odd that the people who don't want us killing animals always balk at the idea of having an excise tax on their binocs, hiking boots and other eco-tourism equipment like we have with the ammo and firearms and also don't want to buy licences to view the animals.

I wonder what the real number of people are who either lost relationships, jobs or didn't get hired because of what they put up on social media.
