I read that if you up-grade to Windows 10, you lose some programs from your computer. I am sticking with Windows 7!!

Word is also coming out about serious security and privacy issues with Win10, if you haven't downloaded it yet you may want to wait.Their WiFi Sense will share your wifi password with your contacts, and your online "friends". Supposedly it's encrypted, and they can only use it when they're actually in range of your wifi, but how long will it take for hackers to penetrate this? They will also store all of your data on the Microsoft Cloud whether you want them to or not, and this includes your contacts, and every email on your hard drive(including future ones). You can disable some of this in settings, but disabling WiFi Sense alone requires 12 pages of clicking buttons to do so. You cannot disable the cloud storage, or the bandwidth that Microsoft will "borrow" whenever they need a little more to reduce their costs for this. That's right, and it's in their very long terms and conditions that you have to ok when you get the "free" download. When I first heard about this I was skeptical, until I contacted a trusted friend who works in IT. He confirmed all of it and more.
Caveat emptor.
