I'd say that's a STEP up from some I've seen! Ya might entertain the thought of some camo paint...or we can hook ya up with Genesis!

I would say get a taller ladder, but they are expensive!
There's no doubt in my mind that someone has sat in that thing or one just like it.
What would you think would be the minimum height for a stand? Mine are 15 & 17'. I wouldn't want to be any higher, but mostly due to the sharper shot angle. If shooting long distances, it wouldn't matter much.

I like it! I've killed some of my best bucks out of a stand similar to that. It was a white metal lawn chair on top of a 10' ladder.

I've seen some "amazing" homemade stands that have been left in the woods over the years and most of them I wouldn't have crawled up into when they were new, much less after they've had a few years to "season" outdoors....
