One. Since I'm new to hunting, I'm not picky on the size of rack, but I don't like ugly ones. LOL He was ugly.
I still might would shoot an ugly one just to take him out of the gene pool.

Passed 2 and killed the 3rd. Very slow year on buck sightings but heavy on the does.

Well, I must say, I was only able to get out for gun season, and shot the small buck that I grunted in. But I have not deer hunted in 3 years due to my back, so I was very happy to shoot my small 6 point buck on public property out of my ground blind. Sorry, do not have the chance to see bigger bucks on property I can access on. But if I did, I would wait on nice bucks.

I'll shoot a buck every 2-3 years. I am primarily a meat hunter and will only shoot a buck if it is obviously mature and at the end of it's growing potential. The meat all goes through the grinder and into sausage and jerky. Just this last Sunday I let a healthy, young 8 walk. He has some growing to do. I'd rather have two does any day.

I've hunted mostly with my son and he doesn't let much walk. In the few days that I have hunted on my own I have let 4 bucks that were in range and offered shot go by. One of which was the biggest buck I have ever passed on.

Only had one in range with a good shot opertunity. It was a shooter 8 pt but I did not shoot because there was a lot bigger 10 pt 45 yds from stand and was hoping it would give me a shot in range. Ended up on the wtong side of the bird in hand 2 in bush saying. (Still to my knolledge 2 bucks in the bush)
