Clearly, Darwin was NOT paying close attention. For what it's worth, I just cannot carry a chambered pistol that does not have a thumb safety. I know there are numerous arguments for and against, but I won't do it. I had a Glock that shot great, but I sold it due to not having a thumb safety. I now carry either a S&W Shield or 642 Airweight. If I am in the woods scouting or otherwise not hunting, I always carry my .45 Kimber in a Blackhawk Serpa. Great combination when concealment is not a concern. So do you carry your 642 with 4 rounds or did you find one with a thumb safety? Just wondering.
