The Law Enforcement Director Danny East will be leaving that position. I think his last day is Sept. 10.
The COs need someone who will get them back to the mission of Fish and Wildlife, Marine Patrol, and patrol of our state properties.
In my opinion, Steve Hunter is a man who can do the job. He's a good man, loyal to the resources, and the mission of ICOs.
Please make whatever contacts that you can make to get Steve in that position.

What about Terry Hendlman not sure on last name but he seems to be on target every time I've been around him

LtCol Hunter would do a good job. Fish and wildlife is his priority, avid hunter, logical thinking, would make sure ICO's are doing what ICO's do best.

Known Terry Hyndman [http://connect.lawofficer.com/profile/TerryHyndman]for several years now very qualified but doubt if he really would want that job.

Terry is a good man and dedicated to the job as well. He might not want the job, happy where he is at.

Lt. Col. Hunter or Lt. Col. Hyndman I don't think you can go wrong with either of them. It IS a political position appointed by the governor so chances are good it will come from outside. But I can hope for one of these two to get it.
