Transporting a deer to the processor question

Morrison: I just need a clarification.

Here's what I do, Do I need to do anything different?

After the deer is shot, I fill out the temp transportation tag. I zip tie it to the deer before it comes out of the woods. Once I get home, I check the deer in on-line. Then I take the Check-IN Game Record, print a copy and zip tie that to the deer, over the top of the temp transportation tag.

Is this OK, or do I nave to remove the temp transportation tag, write the confirmation number on it and re-attach it to the deer before I take it to the processor?

There is no issue in the way you are tagging the deer. Once the confirmation number is recorded, it actually takes the place of the temporary tag because it is the permanent record.
