I have many friends in the Dubois Co. area and I get mixed opinions about Patoka. But, what the ALL agree on is how great West Boggs is. The lake was lowered and killed a few years ago. Apparently the crappie. red ear, and bluegill fishing is excellent.

If you are into lots of short bass that is full of 12 inch bass too. I heard about it every week last year how great it is from a few coworkers.

Patoka is full of little crappie. Check out some of the deeper brush piles next to more shallow area quote author=" beermaker" source="/post/530483/thread" timestamp="1516235799"]I have many friends in the Dubois Co. area and I get mixed opinions about Patoka.
