Anyone ever buy 500 night crawlers from the mail order places?
I am guessing this is where Walts crawlers come from but any good or bad experience?

I was just looking into buying crickets in bulk. Anyone tried it? Bait shops just aren't as common as they once were and getting live bait is often a hassle.

You can even buy minnows in bulk. But no matter what bait you buy, you need to have a proper holding facility for it or you're throwing your money away. For minnows, you have to have enough O2, a waste removal system, an ammonia removal system and a way to feed them.
For crickets, better have something that will keep them ALL inside the cage, a way to feed and water them if you don't use wet food, and after a while, a way to deal with their poop. The cage will smell if many are held for a longer period of time.
