Putting new rear hubs on my Grand Prix - all bolts came out ok except, you guessed it, the last one. Frozen, rounding off, won't budge.
Using PB Blaster, a buddy is bringing his torch over.

Ha! My neighbor rounded off all of the front hub bolts, on both sides of his Sunfire last year. THEN he decided to call me for help. Was a real fun time working them out.
You should have hope on your side with the torch. The biggest job may be finding another bolt. I think Napa or Car Quest was who helped me locate them.

Had a buddy one time that couldn't get a brake caliper removed. He had everything thing rounded off and still couldn't get it. He then asks for my help. As I get there he's still trying and lo and behold he was tighting it. I wanted to slap him.

Except for older Chrysler stuff, that had left hand threads on the left wheels. Anybody remember that? I am telling my age

Unless one side of the vehicle is reverse thread, like they used to be. Just heard about a guy with an old jeep. Danged if all the lug nuts on one side weren't stuck!

I am telling my age There used to be a common household thing that screwed in backwards...what am I thinking of? Everything else was righty-tighty but whatever this was always had you "screwing the wrong direction" so to speak. I can't remember!

I've had a few like that. Recently had one on my skidsteer I had to weld on a socket to get off.

Good thing is carquest and advance are in bed together so the parts availability should be pretty good there.

I am telling my age My 69 Roadrunner was left hand thread on the left side. I work in industrial maintenance and a lot of our high speed rotational equipment has left hand threads

My work car is a Grand Am and I have changed both front hubs within the past 6 months and only managed to round off one bolt a little. Just enough that I was able to use a standard socket on it after a few taps from a hammer. I keep one of those plumbing torches with a yellow tank around just to heat up parts that won't come loose.

I have some Sea Foam Deep Creep penetrating oil that might be better than PB Blaster.
Years ago there was this stuff called Carbon-X 88A, by Delco. Best penetrating oil ever made, but I have not seen it in many years. It had some kind of black stuff in it, it would loosen up anything. We used it in our repair shop on the '70's and '80's.
