Are the worst I've seen in a couple of years due to all the rain and standing water.

We just received an additional 3" of rain yesterday alone. For the year, we are 12" above normal.
Regardless, over the last 5 years we've received 75" inches of rain above normal. That translates into 15" extra per year.
The "Skeeters" love living around me...

Been bothered more by the black flies (buffalo gnats) lately than the skeeters!

Knock on wood, we still havent been hit too hard with them yet in NE LaPorte county. We live on higher ground, so not much swamp or standing water around.
A guy at work found a deal somewhere on an overstock of mosquito spray. They sold for $20/case. I grabbed one, then later asked him for another, but they already were gone.

ThermaCelll for sitting.... walking around scouting? Use Deep Wood Off and/or walk fast. 😉
Save your walkabouts for real windy days.
