Started calling around for Mom. Cheapest so far is $0.919/gal. Most expensive was $1.249. Yes, we own the tanks.
Anybody else start looking yet?
Thoughts on whether the price will be any lower this year? We only have to buy it once per year.

If I talk to suburban again I will ask about prices.
Did you know that particle physics, brain surgery, and the concept of spacetime are nothing compared to understanding propane heat?
I have a rental property and I tell the renters, "Now you will have to buy propane for heat..." nine out of ten of them act like they just can't understand it as winter approaches. I say, "you have to pay for heat one way or another.... a big electric bill, gas, wood, something. Since this house has a furnace it's propane." Every winter they act surprised they have to get gas!
I had Suburban come get their tank this summer. They called me yesterday asking where it was. lol
How do you lose a propane tank?

Just filled up 99 cents a gallon I own my tank and you had to pay at time of fill no billing Same at Mom & Dads. There are two 1,000 gallon tanks and one fill lasts about 14 months. We try to time it when the price is the lowest, and it really pays to shop around.
