There is an online check in procedure for landowner to follow, just like anyone else with a license. I do it every year one or more times, pretty self explanatory.

O.K., thanks guys. I have a customer that will be doing that, but he's not computer literate. Since I have a lifetime license, I just use the license # when I check mine in, even if shot here on this property.

I am going to assume that C.I.D. is Customer Identification Number. I do not believe you need one, but will be issued one upon check-in of a deer.
I went through this for the first time last season as a new landowner. All that was required was to follow the online check-in prompts. When it asks for the license number, there is a "landowner exemption" option. Simply choose the landowner exemption and follow the rest of the process.
Very easy and painless.

Pretty sure you need a CID to even get past the first page. Even if you hit the I don’t know my CID then it just pulls up a few search tools to look you up and find your number.

If you don't currently have one, it will prompt you to create an account which assigns you one

Thanks guys. I'll probably have to walk him thru the process of getting a CID. I think the last time he checked in a deer it was at a check station.
