Like it in marsh like camo

Frog Togs tear too easy, would not recommend. Spend the bucks for some good Cabelas or similar heavy duty hunting rain gear and it will last a long time.

I still have the Helly Hanson stuff SAIC bought me. It's really hot, but works pretty well.

No matter how much you spend or how well the rain gear is recommended your still going to get wet when...... You don't put it on till you are already wet. You move your arms up and down like when casting or shooting. You don't button it all the way up. Rubber bibs and a rubber rain coat are cheap and will do just fine if you keep your arms down and you stay buttoned up.

And dont sweat.
I was soaked from shoulders down. Steady rain all morning. Was just bummed. I have an old Columbia omni quad parka but no hood... tried to get a replacement hood years ago and struck out. Maybe try again

I've got a rain jacket from Scentlok that I've worn walking to (and from) either a blind or shooting house in a light rain and it's fine for that.
I wouldn't sit in an all day rain wearing it as I'm pretty sure I'd be wet before it was all said and done.
Truth be told...I'm over sitting in the rain, it's just not worth it to me anymore.

My gore-tex with scentlock suits have worked the best over the years. It comes down to keeping your hood up and sleeves down and hands dry. It is all over after awhile dont care what you have on.

If the gloves aren't waterproof, they will wick water back to the lining of the jacket, which will wick water up past the elbows. Been there, done that.......

Unless you feel like dunking yourself in latex I'm pretty sure no matter what you have on you will get wet. And what does keep you dry you are in such an environment that you sweat profusely.

I'd get about as much use out of rain gear as I would a 40ft ladder.

I have rain gear from KUIU, very expensive but it will keep you dry. I got it for my grizzly hunt, didn't want to get wet on the first day and be wet for the next 9 with no real way to dry it out. Very happy with it.

After wearing it again today I know that was my issue but not gloves. The liner on the coat liner slumped to the arms and wicked up water soaking my arms. Probably a good deer hunting coat.

I'd get about as much use out of rain gear as I would a 40ft ladder. Same here. I have sat in a stand twice in rain and got soaked on the first one and my back all wet where I was resting against the tree on the second one. Since I built two shooting houses, Dad and I have sat through several rains from light to pretty heavy. We have never seen the first deer during any of those sits over the last 5 years. We are completely done with hunting in the rain even though we are sitting high and dry now. Misting rain is probably the only rain I have any interest in hunting going forward. Snow is a completely different story! I love hunting when the snow is dropping.
