Meanwhile, Amy Kobuchar is about to burst into tears because she can't break her... Everything I've read today that the Democrats are hurting themselves and Biden. People are sick of the Democratic tactics and double standards. So many are wakening up, it's amazing. This hearing makes it so apparent.

She is a professional and knows that its not personal ... its politics. She will be confirmed and she knows it ...

Class in my opinion. Answering all the questions with poise and grace. No smirks or eye rolling just cool and calmly answering the same questions over and over.

Klobuchar showed her true colors yesterday and made an idiot of herself. She acted like she was fighting back tears while propping up images of unfortunate constituents that she claims will be left to die if ObamaCare is overturned. Corey Booker acted similarly, but much more dramatic.
It's truly despicable how they are acting. Crazy Senator Mazie Hirono asked Barrett if she has ever been sexually inappropriate. Dick Durbin (in the Swamp since the 70's) gave a lecture explaining the difference between a musket and an AR. I'm sure that idiot Blumenthal made a donkey out of himself as well, I just don't have enough interest to look it up. Kamala acted like a condescending...well I better stop there. Is there a forum member that can rationalize this behavior? Moose? Greyhair?
From my understanding, the Constitution states that the President (four year term, not 3.5) is to appoint a nominee to fill any vacancy in the SC. It is then up to the Senate to proceed with the confirmation process. Trump is doing as he is required. The Senate can take as little or as long to act as the majority leader sees fit. As Barry O once said, "elections have consequences." One consequence of the Democrats losing control of the Senate was the delay of a SCOTUS confirmation. I think Harry Reid ramrodded something through that didn't help the D's cause. Look it up for yourself.
In a somewhat related topic, McConnell had a debate last night. His opponent, Amy McGrath, brought up term limits. I'm not a huge McConnell fan, but his response was brilliant: I'll paraphrase. "If your proposed term limits were in place, Biden would have been done before my first campaign."

Just think President Trump get to appoint a 4th nominee SC sometime after this week. Not so Honorable SC Judge John Roberts is stepping down. I don't have the day, but right after this current Senate confirmation hearing.

Roberts has been seen as a "villian" by the right since he upheld Obamacare. And conservatives have long used the Supreme Court nominations as a way to drum up support during election years. So I would take all grumblings about a Justice stepping down with a grain of salt right now.

Roberts is tied to Epstein Island and visited it a few times. This is part of his plea deal. Don't have all the details yet. They have been black mailing him and he can do his SC responsibilities. He is sick like a lot other congressman (both sides) and hollywood actors. This includes some top CEO's.

Regardless whether Roberts "retires" or not I think Breyer will before long. I mean after all he is OLDER THAN I AM!
This election winner will get that pick.

I think the line of questioning by Mazie Horono was completely out of line. I was disgusted by the unfounded insinuations.
Rush Limbaugh today said he thinks that line of questioning was a precursor. A setup, if you will, and then asked how much money the Dems would be willing to throw at one of A.C.B's old students to get them to level some allegation of sexual misconduct. Rush said it wouldn't even have to be true. Just get the allegation out there just before the confirmation vote so they can call for another F.B.I. investigation, putting the confirmation vote after the election, and possibly past the inauguration.
At this point, I wouldn't put anything past Nasty Pelosi and Chuck U. Schummer
On a side note, Glenn Beck is evidently selling T-shirts that read, "Notorious A.C.B." I love it!

He`s a traitor and no friend to the Constitution, or the United States.
