We've moved four stands on three different properties over the last couple of weekends.
We have one more stand to move on another piece in the next week or so (depending upon rain) and that should do it...maybe.
It looks like we may lose one of our bigger pieces as the owner is in a nursing home now and her daughter is thinking about selling the property. IF it's sold we may have to pull our stands off of it. We know who the family is going to offer it to and IF he buys it we may be able to keep it. We'll have to pay to keep it, but it's worth paying to continue to hunt it. Lots of IFs to overcome on this one.
We do have a lead on another piece and hopefully that will turn out (especially if we lose the other piece). We'll see how that turns out.

I have one to put up and one might move a few trees away. Thinking Saturday the 20th. Already getting busy with Wayne's Honeybees.

Heck I tilled up my garden yesterday. Wanted to get it before my winter wheat cover crop got to tall. Got 2 mosquito bites too.

Have been cutting shooting lane's/firewood last few weeks but the ground is getting to soft for the skidloader. Calling for 1-3 of snow tonight, then back into the teens and low 20's at night. Should be able to get in another week or more of cutting. Got two more lane's to cut, 160yd and a 190yd.

We girdled about 100 trees in a one year old logged chunk of conversion to bedding area this past weekend...probably a few dozen hinged as well.
Got another logged area down by a roadway that less girdling will be implemented and vastly more hinging will occur this Saturday.

Ended up getting about 5 inches of snow last night, going to carefully try and push it off with the plow and hope I dont tear up the drive or yard.
