Silly question, but anyone with hearing aids, how long did it take you to get used to them?

Use your iPhones with iPods. Much easier than the aids.

Sort of like computers in that they are a love - hate relationship.
I absolutely need them so that is the love part. They are still not a cure all for hard hearing. Even with mine tuned to boost where most of my heating loss is at it is still difficult to understand some people.. Especially my wife. 😉
I started wearing them probably 25 years ago. My loss was due to chronic ear infections and shooting trap a few years without hearing protection. The trap shooting was probably 50 years ago and very few shooters wore hearing protection.
My first 10 or so years of wearing was miserable as they caused more ear infections and build up of watery wax. I finally got a great ear doctor (he looked like Albert Einstein) and he cured all that mess. Now my ears are dry as a bone and the hearing aids don’t bother me as much.
I do like that my hearing aids are Blue Tooth and I can hear my iPhone real well.
I buy all my batteries on Amazon .

Top of the line hearing aids, Bluetooth setup, rechargeable and free. I’m adjusting them with my phone app to find the right blends of treble and bass.
