Looks like a cardboard cut out but it’s a real buck. As of yesterday still holding on this young one.

Checked about 500 trail cam pics yesterday and only a couple small bucks still had antlers. It's time to shed hunt.

Saw 35 deer on the way to drop my daughter off at school last night and not a one had antlers as far as we could tell. Other than yearlings , bucks rarely hang with doe groups over winter. They will be solo or in small bachelor groups. Large doe groups are pretty common this time year as food sources are more scarce.

One group we normally see in the same field was does and at least three bucks, one of which was a dandy. Have watched them since season was out and they’re all together every time. That was one of the groups we saw with no antlers. One’s body was excessively bigger than the others.

Had a fresh car hit deer on the side of our road yesterday. I grabbed it’s antlers……had to snap them off as the were held on tight. Broke the skull and with it.

Went to my property today, had two bucks still holding on to racks. The other is this doe, I don’t remember ever seeing such a black tail?

I found 4 more tonight, most I've found in one day. Two were from pretty decent bucks.

Checked cameras again yesterday, still holding but no more pictures past the time stamp on photo so I’m assuming they finally dropped.
