Had some interesting pictures on my cameras. A momma turkey bring her chicks out and crossing paths with a bobcat. Didn’t see on camera how it ended but the momma turkey played hurt to get the bobcat to chase her. The whole sequence lasted 7 minutes so he may have eaten a few youngsters in that time. Momma turkey came out after the bobcat leaves but I see no young ones.

Cool pics, but hate to see that happen. Hopefully the poults were still just hiding in the woods somewhere.

I’ve got bobcat and fox all over here. Bad for deer but I still have deer on all cameras 24/7. 3 are fawns just born.

They've been spotted at Potato Creek State Park. I hunt all around potato creek and have been for 25 years. Have yet to see anything bigger than barn cats. But have heard all the tall tales. I think we have had better chances of seeing the bears.

I think we have had better chances of seeing the bears. I was up in Northern Wisconsin on Friday and had a set of triplets run across the road in front of the truck. At first I thought they were big raccoons, but when I got closer and the 3rd cub ran out of the bushes I realized that it wasn't a raccoon. Then not 5 miles down the road a porcupine was taking it's sweet time waddling across the road.

We had a bear pass through about 15 miles from me near rolling prarie couple years ago. It was DNR killed. Last year there was another to the east of me about 15 miles near Middlebury. It was road killed. A bud and I saw a road killed badger on 31 near Peru about 8 years ago. Atleast we thought it was a badger. But I have yet to see any kitty cats.

Times change though. I remember when we could only turkey hunt south of 30. Now them things are digging through the trash cans inside south bend.
