Ah, the favors you can get by mentioning that you're a member of Hunting-Indiana! While working near Louisville, KY, I hit the local Mission BBQ in Clarksville for lunch. Interestingly, the counter staff recommended that I get my brisket "moist' instead of "lean" as I could swab away some of the juices if needed but they can't really make the lean brisket juicier! That was a good call. Then a lady came around to check on me and noticed I was taking a pic of the meal. I explained that I liked this moist vs lean concept. And as a member of Hunting-Indiana I would post a pic with comments. About 10 minutes later, she came by with a fresh sweet tea and a complimentary "Nanner Puddin"! She explained that she was the shops Community Ambassador and appreciated the great review! Just another good reason to be part of Woody's posse!

My bee tree removal that I'm doing today come from H-I somehow. Not sure how Marty Reynolds that recommended me for the job fits in. I think Marty knows someone that I know that knows about I-H.

Looks yummy!
My best HI perks have been making some great friends, being able to share in many different experiences, and getting inputs and opinions from knowledgable sources.

I have made some excellent decisions regarding purchases I have made because of input from folks on this site. I too have also enjoyed the friendships I have made.

We must be one of the few that didn’t like it. I won’t go back.

We must be one of the few that didn’t like it. I won’t go back. Since Mr Hopper posted, I thought I'd pop in and try the Kingfish coming back from Kentucky. I thought everything was great. I ordered the scrod basket and my buddy had the coconut shrimp. The scrod basket: I'd give it a 9 out of 10. Just curious Dave as to what you didn't like!? Maybe it's the same reason I dropped to a 9!?

Maybe it's the same reason I dropped to a 9!? Well it didn’t even start off well, because it took forever for the waitress to even acknowledge we were at her table and get us drinks. Then they must’ve been out of any type of seasoning that day because I’ve never had food so bland before. Friends told me about their hush puppies and that’s what I was really looking forward to. They might as well have just wadded up a piece of bread and gave it to me. Nothing was good. We left a lot of food on the table when we left.

Wow! You really did not have a very good experience. The only reason I would not give them a 10 out of 10 today was some lack of attention by the waitress after I got my meal! Not a huge deal for me, but not the best when the drink goes dry! I just took it in stride understanding the issues with hiring these days! All in all, I thought it was a great place. I’d probably order that coconut shrimp the next time I go.

Scrod = smallest fish that can be brought to market. Could be cod, whitefish or haddock. No telling what you get. It refers more to the size than the species.
