I hope that means it pushes birds to our neck of the woods during season. Otherwise it's just cold and snowy with no birds!

Heard the geese massacre will happen tomorrow…. Where? Think I can sneak in? Been a day or 2 since I have been part of a goose beat down

We are due for a harsh winter. See if the lakes freeze this year. I had a conversation about this with one of my suppliers just yesterday. We haven't had much snow or extreme cold here (Floyd Co.) in several years. Just some nuisance snows and ice. I can absolutely live without the extreme cold, but I'd like to see a few good snow events. The company I work for services 100+ properties for snow removal. It would be nice to have some snow storms that started at daylight and were done by early afternoon. The snow/ice mixes that last all night and continue through the day with falling temperatures are hell. I was out for almost 24hrs straight one time last season. I finally told the boss that a few disgruntled customers would be better than an accident due to falling asleep on the road. I think I slept for two hours and then went back at it for another four.
