I have had it with FRONTIER internet services and I am looking for a new and better service. The big problem with FRONTIER is that they are utilizing old (real old) equipment that's left over from the former telephone company from decades ago.
Does anybody use HUGHES NET?

We had Frontier also. Stopped phone and internet now. We went with unlimited data on our Verizon account. Two phones with hotspots, and a tablet. Our service is about 95% now. Slight hiccups once in a great while, and likely late night maintenance.

I was finally able to go 5g verizon at my primary residence unlimited for like 30/month for 3 years I was in a desert and had Hughes net before but I have a cel tower fairly close and got the whole home cube thingy. Remc was not helpful. I moved my router and got new hughesnet dish at camp so I can make wifi calls and have internet. It is not that bad they have come a long way I wouldn't discourage it if you have no other good option. You can stream and all that with a good roku type device.

We have ATT fiber and have no complaints. I will say that, at our previous home, we had Spectrum and I can't tell any difference between the two.
My parents have some sort of service via antenna from a local outdated provider. It's horrible and all they do is complain. But,yet, dad won't upgrade to a better service. In one conversation he doesn't want a line buried in the yard, and then the next time it's the difference in price. I'd pay twice the money to not be aggravated.

Hughes.net is satellite. I had it. Lake effect snow storms or heavy rainstorms would disrupt service. I have Mediacom (x-stream) and it's a whole lot better than Hughes.net.

One of the few upsides to living next to a highway is that Metronet is available. It is fiberoptic, fast and rarely are there any interruptions.
Hope you discover the right option!

I had the same problem with Frontier your right problem was the old equipment. I got sick of constantly calling and complaining but really had no other options other than satellite living in the country. I currently have Viasat for internet and phone works good but very expensive.

I have metronet. Your equipment can make a big difference too. Since I work from I upgraded my wifi system to a whole home mesh system. I'd highly recommend a mesh system.
