I've had bucks of varying ages holding antlers well into March. As soon as that testosterone level drops, they pop off. Pretty cool to still have photos of antlers in February though.

Picked up my first fresh shed yesterday 2/15 but also saw a ten point still carrying and several on trail cams still carrying. Have to be careful looking for sheds early or you'll blow them off your property and they'll drop on the neighbors. I'm not going to look too hard for another ten days or so.

I've noticed the does around my area are losing their winter coats. As of two days ago a group of three bucks had antlers still. Even the 10 pointer 3.5 year old.

I checked a couple cams last night - every buck on there still carrying.
I'm anxious to get out and look, gonna wait a couple more weeks though. I've got enough habitat work to keep me busy until then.

I'm planning on heading to my brother's farm Sunday to put up the ground blind. I will take a look afterwards.

Tie that sucker down to the bed in front if it isn't already. I could see that box tipping back and everything going over the tailgate onto the road with the wind drag from the front.

I showed up at 10am and got the pallets in place and level. After lunch spent afternoon putting the blind together. It was 3:45. Drove to blind down the ridge and dump it there. It was around 4:30 and I was finished for the day. I need to put some boards to hold it together. It's about 50 yards to platform. I plan to head back on 3/18 to finish up and put two swarm traps out. No shed scouting yet.

Finally "Crazy brow" has started to shed. Will be out looking for them this weekend. Being he is hitting this feeder both night and day, he can't be bedding to far away.
