I was in Perry county today and checked my cameras, no bucks still holding antlers on camera. Lots of deer just no racks.

From another site…Impressive early antler growth on this whitetail for March! It's a amazing process. Had a buck 3 year's ago, you may recall? (We named Zeus), he was already a 130 class buck by June 6-7th, showed great growth early but really slowed down as summer progressed, ended up being a 150 class buck, he was killed last day of muzzy that season. Have seen other bucks that start out slow and blowup later in summer. (Guessing just a genetic thing?) Locally still have a few carrying, but most have shed and have pedicles started.

I’ve got a few of those that live by me and hit my seed cakes. They rule the roost snd can go through a seed cake in a hurry. Neat birds!

I will swap SD cards tomorrow. I had a pair of those Pileated Woodpeckers fly by me 2 days ago.

I’ve seen them with racks in turkey season before. Crazy.

Just got this picture. I used my good eye and still cannot tell if it’s ears or start of antlers? Any guesses?

Friend sent me this picture, the bull they call Spike finally shed. One side was laying in the snowmobile trail, second was a mile trek thru waist deep snow.

I saw a buck in the backyard with both sides and one on my trail cam at the lease this week. Both small 4 or 6 pters.

Got home Tuesday and my dog Granger left me a gift by front door. Rascal went shed hunting without me. Lol.

Found this matching set 1/4 mile apart Is that cereal rye the one is in ?? I seeded 4 acres to cereal rye for a cover crop, and have found 6 sheds in that field. Deer have been hammering it mornings and evenings for last 2 months. Deer really like it.

I've only found one set, but haven't looked very much this year.
I did see a 6 pointer tonight, still had both sides.
