Excellent. If that ever passes the federal government will have control of the "run off" in the middle of your lawn.

Excellent. If that ever passes the federal government will have control of the "run off" in the middle of your lawn. Feds already control most of the water around me, the last 6 years they have been blowing the crap out of beaver dams in places that are not hurting a dam thing! They are also spending unbelievable money taking out old road beds and reclaiming wetlands, which in turn bring more beaver...so they then blow the beaver dams...and around and around we go. Anyone that has spent some time in and around these old beaver ponds know that when beaver are active the water stays clean, otter, mink, coon, waterfowl, all wildlife use and enjoy those beaver ponds. When the dams are blown all your left with is a very small or dry creek running up the middle of mucky crap us up here call "loon sh!t". The area becomes stagnant and stinks, becomes void of wildlife.

We are from the Government and we are here to help you.
I got told yesterday from the NRCS office one county North that a customers property where he wanted to put a pond needed to be looked at by the Army Core of Engineers to determine if the area is a wetland and that there is no map available that I could look at to make that determination - all properties now need a physical walk-thru to make that determination.
Yeah and pigs fly too.

I pray everyday what I hear is coming is true. Time to wipe out all these regulation and related agencies. Go back to common law.

Yeah and pigs fly too. I stopped into Army Core of Engineers a couple years ago to see about digging ponds at my house, they looked at map and said that my spot is considered wetland..I said how when I hay it? They then came out and done a walk around, said go ahead no permits needed. Good thing they don't go off maps anymore! I dont even ask anyone for my north property before digging ponds, that land is far enough north that it dont matter..LOL

I got a funny one to tell with my wife. Just this week I'm redoing my new 32" raised garden. Under the wood wall I'm putting roof shingles down to stop the weed-grass edge along the wood wall. Extending about two inches so the mower can cut the grass along it. She stated isn't that going to hurt the plants with it leaking. I laughed and she what's so funny. I stated, look outside on all those roofs. What's on them. Answer: shingles. Yes, every time it rains it leaking in the ground water that the plant and us drink. That ended the conversation.
Conclusion: Where's the common sense!!

Yeah and pigs fly too. Tell him to make sure there's no way anything could be misconstrued to be a wetland. I had one project where a clay tile had collapsed and formed a spot that was too wet to till. Satellite photos showed it for over 7-10 years so it was considered a wetland.
