Looks good Bill, ain't nothing wrong with smoked chicken! This is a chance we all take venturing past our mowed yards (even past our doorstep). I've heard it goes away after time, I look forward to your hunting adventures no matter what you are after!

Had a co-worker that had this years ago. He said he was able to get over it by eating very small amounts of meat, increasing over time. Hopefully you'll get past this in time. Either way, I'm glad you're above-ground to tell us about it. It sure beats the alternative.

I’m on a private website for Alpha-Gal sufferers. The main stream media has for some reason reported on this disease, CNN, Fox, NBC, CBS , NPR and a few more. I think you will see a surge in cases as it takes a average of 7 years to diagnose. Found mine in 6 months but not because of any doctor, they all doubted me and my wife and said we were using Dr. Google to self diagnose. Got apologies from 2 doctors after we insisted on a Alpha-Gal blood test. My wife remembers our forester we hired 3 years ago telling us to be careful because of a tick bite that causes a meat allergy. All my symptoms fit but the Doctors tested my heart, lungs and my brain. One told me I had chronic congestive heart failure and COPD, turns out I’m healthy as a horse with no heart issues and clear lungs and after a MRI on my brain there was no problem. What I’m saying is if you feel like you are having issues after eating mammalian meat or milk etc. insist on a test for Alpha-Gal.

Not meaning to detract from the subject, but I gotta add... Concerning the news, bad, and false information out there, kinda same thing with my Carnivore diet. 95% of Dr.s say its UNhealthy due to what they are taught about nutrition, fat, and cholesterol. My doc was iffy, but after my test results coming back and progress started showing huge improvements, all he could say was, "keep doing what your doing!" There is gobs of info and studies that show the positives, yet that info is stifled or hidden to the public by the news, big pharma, and big food.

If the doctors were able to fix everybody's problems, then they'd be basically cutting their own throat business wise. A cured patient is a lost patient.

I’ve had a couple of people ask me if I will stop hunting since I have Alpha-Gal and cannot eat the deer meat.
