Several months ago I asked this forum about battery powered leaf blowers and with recommendations I purchased a EGO blower and I am totally satisfied with it.
Now I am looking at a battery powered extended tree trimmer.
THOUGHTS?

Stick with the battery platform you already have. I started with ryobi and have thier tools. Just bought a tree pruning saw.

Didn't get much feedback but bill9068 made good sense by saying "stick with the same battery platform" so I purchase a EGO POWERHEAD AND POLE with an extra pole extension which gives me a total reach of about 10'. The power head allows you to add any attachment you wish to plus it gives you an additional battery and charger. The one thing I like about EGO is you can fully recharge a battery in about 45 mins. I tried out the saw this afternoon on some tree limbs that have been bugging me for some time and it made quick work of those limbs some being 4" in diameter.
I HIGHLY RECOMMNED EGO PRODUCTS.

I have the Ego blower , tree trimmers and tiller attachment. All work great. The tiller attachment really will let me get close to plants which equals less weed pulling

What volt battery system do they run? How much is a replacement, and how long is the battery lifespan?
I saw a 20V Dewalt pole saw today for $177. I use Dewalt for work and home, so their 20V system would make the most sense for me. I have batteries up to 6 amp/hr.

I used my tree trimmer today. It wore a 32" bar and it's battery pack was filled with 100LL. It's battery pack puts 4.6 KW of power.
How does that compare to the EGO?
