How many are hunting squirrel with airguns? What do you all have? Shot this one with my hatsan flash .177

I'll never use my family's airgun on squirrels. It's a Crosman and it doesn't stay accurate for more than a feww minutes. I can hit a rabbit with it, but the accuracy is unpredictable and I've had plenty of times where I aimed at the vitals and hit the rear legs.

One of these days I will get a nice PCP. Unfortunately the compressor costs about as much as the gun!

One of these days I will get a nice PCP. Unfortunately the compressor costs about as much as the gun! I have yet to invest in a compressor, they are salty. It has not been too bad using a hand pump, but then I'm not shooting it every day I can get about 50 shots in before the pressure drops below 2000 lbs, about 50 pumps its back to 3200 Lbs

I used a cheap hand pump from Amazon. It was my 3rd one. First fell apart in the package on way here, 2nd was too hard to pump, and the current one is great. It's a 3 stage also. The reviews say you either get a good one, or broken one, and they were right. Lol. Around $80.

.177 Umarex Gauntlet (no longer made in .177). Haven't used it this year yet. I bought a Hatsun manual pump for it.

I had to dig mine out and look again. I bought a Hatsan hand pump on the recommendation of Omegahunter after my bad luck with the el-cheapos. It's working great still after a couple years of light use.

I had a hill pump but it crapped out. Have a compressor now. It's a air ventura nomad and works very well. Bought a texan to deer hunt with and hand pumping wasn't an option with it anyway lol

I so want to use an air gun for deer but I have way too many custom semi/custom rifles to warrant more money on an air gun.

I've done it. We get them heavy in the winter during snowstorms and also more scattered throughout the rest of the year. They nested in the chicken coop for sure this year.

I need to find someone to re-seal my FWB 124's. IIRC you're on the north end of the state, but don't know where. This place is in New Haven and Crosman uses them as a repair center if that's worth anything. www.manta.com/c/mt7xhjk/airgun-repairs-llc

I'm about 30 miles SSW of South Bend, IN. Basically Rt. 30 and State Road 23.
