I have never owned 1 but have hunted and shot skeet with guys who owned the autoloader version. They seemed to work fine but fit and finish was expected with a budget gun.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy one. It should go bang when you need it too.

2 guys I know have them that shoot sporting clays. They will be getting rid of them and getting something more reliable.
Let me put this out there. A little known fact is that Davidsons, the firearms wholesaler has a hush hush guarantee. You don't like the gun? They will take it back, even if it's used for a while. They don't sell Stoeger because they were losing money on them, taking too many of them back.

I have a 3" pump I got dirt cheap from a dude that won it at a DU banquet. It is clunky and not finished nearly as well as my Nova pump but has always functioned well. We sell quite a lot of the autoloaders and don't get them back at any higher rate than other guns. In the end they are Turkish, even if Benelli (and in turn Beretta) owns them and they are using old Benelli tooling. The difference between them and the Franchi or Beretta 3" guns is only a couple hundred bucks....best advice is save and wait just a bit.

What I thought. There are actually decent deals around on Benelli and Winchester right now. And there is always Mossberg.
Spot shoots are about all I do anymore, I just want a new one for that.
