I think Lutz and his son have their sh!t together, Ryan Martin's crew got it going on as well. They are very consistent.

Wonder how many are running a carburetor vs EFI…….. I don't think there are any cars running carbs that are going that quick. Turbo's, Nitrous, Pro Chargers. These cars are street legal and have to drive from one event to another like they do in Drag Week.

There are others that are fast, but I think Ryan and his crew have it covered. He doesn't do Sick Week or Drag Week like Lutz does. I have to look up the regs for NPK for this year to see what the blower cars have to run weight wise vs. the pro charger cars like Ryan has. They really was a big discrepancy last year, that's why the blower cars did so well, and there was a loophole in what is considered to be a "stock block", so a billet block was allowed to run in that category with the weight breaks as well. That is why Damon did so well last year.

Street legal???
Unlike a regular mod, pro mods focus on function. Each modification and adjustment is necessary to a driver’s success on the racetrack and many include components that aren’t street legal by any means.

No race tires on the street, etc., etc. Lights, all the required equipment to make the car street legal, licensed and insured. They have to drive the "race" car pulling a trailer with all the tools/parts needed from track to track too. No support vehicles allowed. They also have checkpoints that they have to stop at between tracks. Yesterday the drive from the track to the track today was about 225 miles.
