My cousin called me last night to ask if I wanted to turkey hunt there in 2007. His dad lives down there and says turkeys are EVERYWHERE! Wild boars too. Turkeys NR License is $147 for the first bird, and $10 a bird after that. You can harvest 3. The boars don't have a season. I think we are gonna check it out. It's somewhere near Ardmore I think. Anyone ever hunt in OK before?

I lived in southeastern Oklahoma by a town called Wilburton 10 or 12 yrs ago and there are alot of turkeys, but the hogs were kind of scattered around in little pockets. Let me know exactly where at you are going, and maybe I can help you out.

I guess the town his dad lives in is called Pauls Valley. I'm trying to find out about public ground close to there. His dad owns 80 acres, but I don't know what type of ground it is. Thank you for the offer Jaybob.
