I have only lived in my new home off 256 ( near Kent in Southern Indiana ) for about four months, and I have a big bean field behind it that I peer out into periodically hoping to see deer. Until now, not a single deer, in spite of all the tracks. I look out yesterday and see something, and when I look through the binocs, I see four bucks, two 1 1/2 year olds, a six or so and a one-horn spike, and two racked bucks, probably 2/12, though they could have been healthy 1 1/2's. Couldn't tell how many points. It was still good and light when they came out, messing around about 100 yards from a road and a house. I might have to put out a feeder.

Sounds like the perfect time to introduce yourself to the neighbor who owns that bean field .
