Is the build up of snow geese normal? Is there much snow goose hunting in the state? It is normal unless you are hunting with Duff, then they disappear into thin air. True story. We call it hunting and not killing for a reason

Made it out to the river. Had a nice fish long enough to see it surface but not sure what it was. Thinking a 30 inch walleye...give or take. 1st cast too. Ended up with a 4 inch drum and good fresh air. World record Walleye no doubt... . More or less. I was already worried how I would get it to a certified scale...

Anything is possible. Not sure how PU is an underdog anywhere. They are a top tier team this year.
I think if the scores are high it favors IU. PU has been lockdown D and disciplined offense. Equals low scores and fewer trips up and down the court for Zach. If IU tries to play at purdue pace they lose.

I was thinking I remember someone posting the number of 2nd bucks taken before OBR. Anyone got those numbers to share again? IIRC, it was a rather small number. I think, on average, 6,000 hunters got a buck during bow and a gun. About 10% of normal buck harvest. However following years the buck harvest increased. So clearly other factors involved. Pro rule change will slant it to say more bucks. Those against the rule change will say it had no impact on deer harvest.

I would need your buddies help! My back has been a mess for years, and one thing that has me tapping out the quickest is a lot of bending low to grapple with awkward stuff like logs. Good way to mess yourself up in the first place. During the craziness of 2020 I helped Clifty park staff outside so I could keep working. we felled a lot of dead trees, and the saw man would sometimes cut limbs up into sections that were somewhat ambitious to tackle. When I caught the guys tugging on them I'd use my "dad voice" to make them stop so I could help. ( I also made em wear ear plugs. Darn kids ) Ill advised lifting choices in my twenties still haunt me. That heat will feel good later! Same here. 2 back surgeries and a number foot. Blew 1st disc at 21 working at a horse farm. Rest has been poor choices.

Meh I am for increased hunting opportunities. Not less.
Obr I can take it or leave it. Never once did I double up on bucks. I can get 2 if I wanted to now...actually 3. Just not interested in shooting that many deer. I do view our as a limitation to hunting opportunities so don't like it. But have come to accept it and realized about 10 yrs ago it likely wasn't going anywhere

Lawrance co was down by 19 deer over last year. Maybe that is the special antlerless gun season nit being in this year. Still topped 2,100+ deer. Peak harvest was 2,600+ 3 yrs ago. I took 2 and that was 1st time in probably 3 yrs

Might be a good time to go looking. When I had my office in Franklin the head of the wwtp made more money than anyone in government and he got pretty much what ever he wanted. I'm trying to transition into the drinking water industry. I'm tired of the other side. Best of luck. Wwtp is a dirty job! Saw a private wwtp in Bedford was hiring a lab tech for $25/hr. Dang easy job and I can verify they don't need any schooling. A pulse and ability to show up is the bare minimum.

Sorry. Not opening any of your links. You have convinced me you have superpowers granted to you by God with your rare blood of Russian spies. No telling what you are capable of implanting to those unsuspecting.

My kids are on 2hr delay. I don't mind it. They build the school year to allow flexibility on questionable days. Even more than ever with E-learning days.
I do feel sorry for those who have young kids or kid that needs supervision regardless of age and no sitter. Puts folks in a bind.

No clue. I did hear, but no way for me to confirm, that the NFL made a change to officials and now the biggest majority are inexperienced like a large proportion have been in the league for less than 3 years.
Could explain some bad calls.
I have heard folks speculate there is a fix on some games. I don't buy it but I suppose anything is possible. Too many people involved to keep it quiet.
Sucks to be the fans of the team that got the lopsided calls. Too many times the refs impact the game. I watch college basketball more than other sports and there have been some blown calls that changed the outcome of the game.

Scouted...next time. Just have to decide if sauger or stripers or catfish or all the above Stripers and catfish. Ok, I have no idea what a sauger is. A cousin of the walleye. They are smaller but just as tasty

I've been fishing at KY Lake twice and would not go again unless a guide or a local was along. Why?

We've been down there a few times, last May being the most recent. Never have fished, have done about everything else down there though. Fun place. BTW, "The Pond" restaurant on the west side of that area is a great place to eat! Second the motion on “The Pond”. Great food! Then there is always Patti’s in Grand Rivers. Two inch thick pork chops and “mile high pie”! Patti's was on the list of potentials but we stopped on the way down. Looked busy.

Never been. Been eyeing the dam fishing behind Barkley and KY Lakes and a nice Jan day got my wife, daughter and I mHoosier. For a fast trip. Pretty sure I will make the trip again. About 3 hours away for me 1 way so about as far as I want to drive for a day of fishing. Maybe take a long weekend down there when the lake is more inviting. No pics of the bison but we saw them too. I know the forest service claims these guys are wild...not buying it! Still cool for a hoosier. My daughter was really into the elk. Saw a ton of turkey and deer on the trip. Nice country down there.

Another great win for the guys tonight. Let’s see what the ladies do tomorrow. 5 Ws in a row. It will only get harder now. 2 games vs PU, wolverines, away at MSU and OSU. They are playing inspired for sure. Bouncing back from a 4 game skid is a huge accomplishment and will serve these guys well remainder of the season. They are improving every game. Hope it continues.
