Nothing moving around my hunting ground except a Jack*** in a black and yellow ultralight flying back and forth over the woods and fields! Very aggrevating

So what's going on? This is supposed to be live from the stand, the comments have been few and far between, so is very few hunting or is nobody seeing much? If you ain't seeing them let me tell you, your not alone I'm not seeing nothing either. Is this what might be called the October lull?

I also hunt Knox County North Eastern part by the way and the quantity of deer that's been seen in my hunting areas are the about the same as years past, but I'm just thinking that between the weather and timing of the rut and the big bright moon that we've had for the last few weeks has them moving at night and midday and bedded down biggest part of the day at the moment, but I'm thinking they'll be on the move soon enough, still a lot of season left.

Since I have already shot my buck and a button buck may I use my 3rd tag to shoot a doe at either Greene Sullivan or Glendale with a crossbow?

Good morning from Knox county, I got a light breeze on this beautiful morn. Been making to the stands a little late this week due to work but I've been seeing deer late in the mornings. Bucks with noses to the ground and doe in groups of 2 or more. I haven't seen no chasing yet I know it's gotta be happening or darn close to it!

I hunt with a Parker Hornet Extreme which I purchased in Septeber this year and have taken a nice 8 pointer in early October at 15 yards and it's long story about this one just talk to Evoloutions Thunder he'll tell ya! Also took a doe and button buck with it, sighted in at 20,30,40,50 yards 185lb pull 320 fps. Kinda hooked on it now and thanks Woody for letting me shoot your Ten Point during youth hunt weekend in Knox County!

This is getting exciting reading your experiences. It's funny to me that Met had a slow day with 4 does; I haven't seen a deer period! LOL, I admit I'm spoiled. Both places I hunt are in very high dear density areas. Yesterday, I sat all morning and got skunked then sat all afternoon and saw 4 does late. Over the course of a season, when I used to keep a hunting journal, my deer sightings would normally be higher than my hours sat number. In other words, I'd average seeing more than a deer an hour. Of course it's not spread out evenly like that, but you get the picture. I would say that, on avg. I could kill a deer, if I chose to, every 2 or 3 sits. In other words, at least one deer in bow range. Gun range it's close to every sit, on avg. Of course, that counts all deer (does, fawns, small bucks, etc.) that's how spoiled I am. I really respect you guys who hunt day after day without seeing deer. I'm not sure I could stick with it.
