Hello, I live in Perry County and own land that borders a huge track of HNF, I always do everything the Tred Barta way (The hard way) Every year I pack my deer stands a mile back into the HNF on my back or deer cart and walk that distance during the season to hunt, hoping to get away from everyone. If I get a deer I haul it out on my deer cart. My question is I always thought that ATV'S are illegal in the HNF but every year I have clowns driving their ATV'S up and down the old log access roads to hunt or get their deer out. And every year I see trucks parked along the road along HNF land with ATV'S on their trucks knowing if they get one they are going to haul it out with the ATV. Why hasn't this issue been enforced or is it ok to use an ATV to get your deer out on HNF land? I just feel like I do the right thing (The hard way) and other people do it the lazy way and get away with it. Thanks for your time.

I suggest that you contact your local CO and advise him about your observations, and ask him about the ORV laws in your area.
