I know I have to get a permit from a law officer to take possession of a road killed deer, but what about only the antlers? I have a hacksaw in my truck and I've been tempted to remove antlers from the road kill, but been afraid I'd get busted. There's a CO that lives down the road from a busy deer crossing near where I live. Thanks

You'll need a permit. Talk to your local CO. The image of a deer with the antlers cut off......roadkill or not, laying along the side of the road is not good. I tell people if they want the antlers, then they need to take it all, or they don't get a permit.
