I called bloomington and Marcie said there is no daily bag limit on deer. IOW you can take more than one a day?

Also she said I can check in my buddys deer for him if he needs to go to work or something.

Can you confirm these for me?

There is no daily bag limit on deer per se. You are allowed to kill one deer per license. There are seasonal bag limits for deer, as printed in the hunting regs. You can check in a buddy's deer for him as long as you have the hunting license and transportation tag. BUT, with the rule change that allows hunters 48 hours instead of 24 hours, this should not be a problem for your buddy.
