Settle an argument

Please help settle this argument for me.

A guy goes out on opening day of firearms season, this saturday, and carries a 12 gauge shotgun AND a 50 caliber muzzleloader. He puts them in the tree with him and hunts all day, is he breaking the law?

No, you can hunt with any legal firearm for deer during the firearms season and there is no limit as to the number of legal firearms you may have with you at any given time. All other rules do apply, however.
